Tesco Bank is offering holders of the supermarket giant’s Clubcard £25 worth of free petrol if they purchase direct car insurance over their website by February 29. Tesco Bank’s chief commercial officer, Iain Clink, commented on the new offering, remarking that the New Year is the best time to turn over a new leaf when it comes time to your financial health, with the financial service provider offering a wide range of new products to help consumers get a head start in 2012.
Tesco Bank has also offered several other new deals on its financial products, such as reducing its interest rates on its personal loans to a low of 6.1 per cent for sums between £14,999 and £7,500. While the rates on its Clubcard credit card remain the same, Tesco is still offering free interest for a period of 15 months on purchases and nine months on balance transfers, though any transferred balances are subject to a 2.9 per cent service fee.
Other deals being offered by Tesco Bank include a £20 gift card for Clubcard holders who purchase a new pet insurance policy by the end of next month as well, making the financial services provider a good choice for anyone looking for ways to save money in the New Year, provided they act fast and purchase the cover before the deal goes away on February 29.
