One online car insurance comparison website has launched a customer incentive scheme, offering a thank you to its customers who purchase home or motor car insurance this month by providing them with a 2-for-1 dining card.
Car insurance comparison site Confused.com has partnered with Hi-Life to provide the dining cards in an effort to remain competitive in a market that has had to deal with inflation eroding the amount of disposable income UK consumers have. Offers and discounts on expenses such as entertainment and dining out are becoming increasingly prevalent amongst the discount car insurance industry.
The Institute for Fiscal Studies recently revealed research findings that discovered a drop of 3.5 per cent in median net household income. This decrease has been the largest drop to occur in a single year in three decades, the Institute said.
This increased income pressure has led to people not only looking for better bargains but becoming more financially savvy as well. In order to aid its customers, Confused.com has decided to give away dining cards to all customers who purchase a home or car insurance policy during the month of November through the website.
The dining card is valid for an entire year, which means 2-for-1 dining all day every day for more than 3,500 restaurants participating in the dining card, which means the savings can be quite significant. Participating restaurants include all price ranges and tastes, such as Pizza Hut, Prezzo, Loch Fyne, Malmaison, and several other dining establishments as well.
Saving their customers both time and money is integral to their business, said Confused.com’s car insurance head, Gareth Kloet, in a recent statement.
