Cheap car insurance provider Aviva will be introducing its ‘Quote me happy’ internet insurance brand for those motorists who enjoy conducting their financial matters online. The new insurance brand has been tailored to appeal to drivers who prefer to use car insurance comparison websites and will be providing courtesy car and personal accident cover as standard, with more extensive options available for those in need of more comprehensive cover.
The new service, which will be exclusively offering car insurance, is targeted towards lower risk drivers who own a car worth less than £40,000 and is more than 13 years old, have had one at fault claim or less over the last four years, and are between the ages of 21 and 75. Aviva retail director, Steve Treloar, commented that the new insurance brand will provide fully-comprehensive cover for these low risk motorists, and consumers will be able to manage their policies, print policy documents, purchase insurance, and get quotes, all online.
This new service, added Mr Treloar, is a natural outgrowth of their currently successful car insurance business. Quote me happy will be deliberately made distinct from the main Aviva brand, which provides its policyholders the choice of conducting business by phone, online, or through a corporate partner or other broker, Mr Treloar also said.
Designed specifically for those independent people who enjoy serving themselves without the need of an intermediary but still want to gain access to high quality products, Quote me happy will fill that role, the retail director remarked.
